Atlantis Fritillary

 The Atlantis Fritillary is a new species for me this year. I have only heard of one area where they can be seen on the Avalon, Chance Cove Park.

 I headed there this summer and was able to see at least two in about an hour. However, seeing them and getting photos are clearly two different things.

 Unfortunately, my shots were not to my liking, but I was certainly happy to see the elusive butterfly.
