Why is this Sharp-shinned Hawk so plump? Well, I think he is the one who ate all the Purple Finches, Pine Siskins and most of the American Goldfinch!
Despite having clearly had his smorgasbord of winter finches, he continues to look around for more. 
Let's hope he turns his attention to small mammals when the sparrows, warblers and thrushes return!
